An early morning train between Kidderminster and Worcester, linking to Paddington, is to be axed because of a lack of demand.
The 5.53am which runs on weekdays from Kidderminster to Worcester Foregate Street will end on Friday.
Other timetable changes will see the 6.45am service from Worcester Foregate Street to Dorridge diverted to start from Worcester Shrub Hill at 6.47am.
A whole new timetable is being introduced by London Midland for the West Midlands from Sunday.
Officials say that many of the changes have been made in consultation with Centro and other West Midland stakeholders.
A London Midland spokesman said the 5.53am service had only been lightly used and meant a three-hour journey to London.
