A 40-year-old man was attacked while walking along a street in Stafford.

A 40-year-old man was attacked while walking along a street in Stafford.
The man, who is from the town, was attacked while walking along Sidney Avenue between 10pm and 11pm on Thursday.
He is currently in Stafford Hospital where police describe his condition as "serious but not life-threatening".
