Lorry causes rush hour chaos
A jacknifed lorry on the M6 caused traffic chaos during rush hour this morning with tailbacks stretching along the motorway and onto surrounding roads.

Two lanes had to be closed to traffic close to Junction 10A of the M6 Southbound from 6.45am and remained closed until 8.22am.
The closure, off Sneyd Lane, close to Essington, was forced after the red and white pallet delivery truck marked 'AK Worthington' lost control on the motorway early today. The driver was not hurt in the accident but the effects on the roads were clear as peak hours traffic built up today.
Queues could be seen stretching back as far as the eye could see along the M6 well past Junction 11.
Highways agency spokesman Annie Harris said: "There was an effect on traffic while the lanes were closed and there would have undoubtedly been delays, but the lanes were reopened as quickly as possible."
It also had an effect on roads leading onto the motorway, including Cannock Road and roads surrounding Junction 10A. There were also queues forming back to Junction 1 of the M54 Eastbound.
Despite the lanes being opened within 2 hours traffic remained sluggish afterwards as the flow of vehicles got back to normal.
One motorist said: "The traffic was terrible, I looked back and I couldn't even see the end of the queues behind me it was stretching back that far.
"Vehicles were down to three miles per hour at least, it was crawling."
