A lorry driver suffered burns after gas cylinder exploded in his face at a service station on the M6.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was airlifted to hospital suffering burns to his face, hands and leg after the blast at Hilton Park services, near junction 10a on the southbound carriageway at around 11.20am yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent a land ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
