Tailbacks as cars collide

Tailbacks several miles long built up today after a two-car crash at the junction of Stourport Road and Sutton Road in Kidderminster.

The road was blocked in both direction after the collision which happened shortly before 5.41am and involved a Renault Laguna and Vauxhall Vectra.

Police reported no injuries but diversions were put into operation as tailbacks of traffic built up.

The road was reopened after the cars were removed at about 7am.
