Ray stops running at night
Stafford's running paramedic has decided to stop running at night after hitting a lamp-post and knocking himself out.

Ray Edensor's mishap took place on Sunday night and caused a two-and-a-half inch gash to his eyebrow. He lost consciousness for around five minutes but still managed to pick himself up and finish his fourth of 25 daily half marathons. He then went to Stafford Hospital for six stitches.
Ray, who is running the 25 half marathons in as many days to mark the 25th anniversary of Stafford Half Marathon, put the accident down to the glare of car headlights obscuring his vision. The 50-year-old ambulanceman has now arranged to keep daylight hours free for his fundraising runs.
