Two of Britain's most outstanding Paralympic athletes, Sascha Kindred and Mickey Bushell, visited the Severn Valley Railway in Kidderminster today.

They unveiled the railway's fourth passenger coach for disabled visitors during their visit to Kidderminster Town Station.

Swimmer Sascha Kindred, aged 32, won two golds and a bronze in the Beijing Games and was awarded the OBE in this year's New Years Honours. Though suffering from cerebral palsy, he has represented Britain in each of the last four Paralympics, winning 11 medals, of which six are gold.

Wheelchair athlete Mickey Bushell, aged 18, only missed gold by nine hundredths of a second during the games. He suffers from a rare medical condition which means he is without seven vertebrae in his lower back and has no stomach muscle control.
