A teenager stabbed to death at a picturesque Stourport nature reserve has been named by police as 19-year-old Shane Price.
A teenager stabbed to death at a picturesque Stourport nature reserve has been named by police as 19-year-old Shane Price.
A post-mortem examination confirmed Mr Price died of a stab wound to the chest after he and his parents were attacked on Hartlebury Common on Friday evening, sparking a 50-strong police manhunt.
Seven people have been arrested as part of the investigation. Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remain in custody helping officers with their enquiries.
A further four women arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on police bail pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Williamson, said: "We believe there was a fight between a number of people, as a result of which Mr Price sustained a fatal stab wound to the chest."
