Multi-million pound regeneration schemes which are being drawn up for Kidderminster could secure 6,000 jobs for the town, councillors have claimed.

Councillors say the 30-year vision could bring more than £250 million worth of investment.

A number of major projects are said to be in the pipeline including a new mainline railway station, Carpet Museum, housing renewal, centres and new schools.

A prospectus is now being drawn up by Wyre Forest District Council to promote the town to key investors.
