Bethany in fight for life

A toddler from Cannock who recently underwent a life-saving double organ transplant is fighting for survival after her devastated parents revealed she was unable to breathe on her own.

Bethany Dawson, aged 19 months, has already had to be resuscitated at Birmingham Children's Hospital when her heart stopped and her parents fear her body could be rejecting her new organs.

Nikki and Tim Dawson, from Whinyates Rise, said Bethany's lungs keep collapsing.
