The Quality Hotel in Wolverhampton is to revert back to its original name The Goldthorn as part of a rescue deal that saves the jobs of its 48 workers.
The Penn Road venue, popular for weddings, was one of 10 hotels leased by the Real Hotel Company.
It went into administration last month.
The 10, including others at Penkridge and Telford employing almost 500 people in total, have now been bought by Focus Hotels Management.
Jason Morgan, resident manager at the Quality Hotel Wolverhampton, said: "There is huge relief among all the staff at this news."
Mr Morgan confirmed that, as part of the takeover, the hotel is to revert back to its original name The Goldthorn Hotel. Today's deal does not affect the Quality Hotel in Dudley, which is run as a separate franchise of the Choice Hotels International group.
