Albion hot-shot Jay Simpson has targeted revenge against giant-killing experts Burnley in Saturday's FA Cup clash at the Hawthorns.
But the on-loan striker warned his team-mates to expect a rough ride in the fourth-round tie – especially from Albion old boy Brian Jensen.
Simpson, who was part of the Arsenal team dumped out of the Carling Cup by the Clarets, is looking to help Tony Mowbray's men reach the last 16 with victory at the weekend.
The 20-year-old said: "I owe them one even though I am playing for a different team now. I definitely want to beat them and not just because of what happened to me in the Carling Cup.
"I also want to get through to the next round of the FA Cup with Albion."
The youngster was among the stars of the young Arsenal team that grabbed the early Carling Cup headlines by defeating Premier League Wigan, before bowing out 2-0 to Burnley at Turf Moor with Simpson figuring as a second-half substitute.
The on-loan striker is hoping for better fortunes against Owen Coyle's side after the young Gunners were thwarted by Jensen's man-of-the-match display.
Simpson said: "When I went there with Arsenal it was the first time that we were not the underdogs and as a young side we struggled to cope.
"They came at us with their fans right behind them and they did really well, with good players and a good system.
"Chris Eagles is having a great season for them and did well against us but the keeper was great as well. We had quite a few chances in that game and probably should have won, but Jensen was outstanding.
"They have got some good individuals, but they are really good collectively."
Burnley's exploits continued last night when they were within two minutes of the Carling Cup final at Wembley, before they suffered late heartbreak as Tottenham won in extra time.
Simpson hopes that the Clarets' exertions will work in Albion's favour, but he still expects Coyle's men to come out firing.
He said: "They only have two days to recover which might count in our favour."
