Jorden Buxton, 21, from Wood Street, Lanesfield, has beaten off thousands of other women to make it down to the final 30 models, who are all bidding to be crowned Miss Top Model UK 2009 at a hotel in London.

The mum-of-one impressed the judges at the semi-finals on December 20 and will attend the grand final at The Dorchester, in London on March 27, where she will have to strut her stuff down the catwalk once again.

If she wins she will land a photo shoot with a professional photographer and will also be signed up by well-known modelling agencies in London and Paris.

Miss Buxton, who starts a personal trainer course at Bilston College later this month, said: "I couldn't believe it when they told me I had made it to the final," she said. "It was a like a dream and I was just waiting to wake up."
