A horsewoman was taken to hospital with suspected concussion and leg injuries after a fall in Stourbridge.

The rider fell after her horse collided with a car in Norton Road, near the junction with County Lane, yesterday.

The County Air Ambulance went to the scene at around 3.15pm, but the woman, believed to be in her 30s, was treated at the scene then driven to hospital by ambulance.

An ambulance spokesman said an elderly couple in the car did not require hospital treatment.
