Golfers from Kidderminster have helped raise funds to provide lifesaving equipment for heart attack victims.
They have raised money for a defibrillator for the Park Attwood Clinic at Trimpley, near Bewdley.
Kidderminster Golf Club, represented by member Chris Tompkin and Sian Syddall, from the British Heart Foundation, handed over the equipment at the clinic.
Mr Syddall said he was very thankful for the efforts of the golfers.
"We hope the defibrillator will never have to be used, but if it does, lives will be saved as a result."
Gillian Horner, nursing manager at the clinic, said: "Park Attwood is in a rural setting and some distance from the nearest accident and emergency unit, so it is essential that we are well-equipped to deal with a cardiac arrest, as delay can cost lives."
Around 230,000 people suffer a heart attack in the UK each year, about a third of whom die before reaching hospital due to cardiac arrest.
