Crackdown on speeders
Speeding motorists are making life a misery for people in the Bewdley area who fear there could be a fatality unless something is done.

Residents living near to roads in the town have called for measures saying they are living in fear of someone being hurt. Police in the town are now planning an operation to clamp down on speeders.
During December and January officers are planning to carry out speed enforcement checks on the A456 at Callow Hill and at Dowles Road in Bewdley.
They will also be targeting speeding drivers along the Cleobury Road between Wharton's Park island and Welch Gate as part of the operation.
Sergeant Chris Aimes said complaints about speeding at Dowles Road and Cleobury Road had been raised during recent talks with residents.
Both are residential areas where a 30 miles per hour limit applies. However some drivers using the route are electing to ignore the limit despite the presence of homes nearby.
Sgt Aimes said: "Speeding at Callow Hill remains an ongoing problem and has already been highlighted by members of Rock Parish Council.
"After those concerns were raised traffic data was collected at Dowles Hill and Cleobury Road by the highways authority.
"This does confirm that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.
"We have listened to residents and as a result have asked our Road Policing Unit to crackdown on motorists through regular speed enforcement checks at all of these locations during the next month or longer.
"We will also be asking Worcestershire County Council's highways department to look at more permanent traffic "calming" measures. Hopefully, in the meantime the threat of a fixed penalty notice and points on their licence will ensure motorists are more observant of the speed limits on these roads."
