Warden patrols have been stepped up at parks around Bewdley after schoolchildren claimed they felt intimidated by older youths.
Although no attacks have taken place, police have taken the matter up with Wyre Forest Community Housing. Now the housing group is stepping up patrols to make children want to visit the parks.
Officials also hope better facilities will be provided by the New Year. Sgt Chris Aimes said priorities had been established during a meeting with students.
