Celebrations are being planned to mark the 150th anniversary of a Kidderminster church.
St Ambrose Church in Birmingham Road will be marking the milestone on December 6.
The Rev Douglas Lamb, who has been a priest there for 15 years, said he was "extremely proud" to be part of the celebrations and expected many of the 650 people who attend weekly mass in the church to take part in a programme of events. These will include a pageant by pupils from St Ambrose RC School at 7pm on December 4.
This will be followed by a lecture on the life of St Ambrose which will be given by a Benedictine monk Father Brendan Thomas at 7.30pm on December 5.
The following day at noon there will be a special St Ambrose Day mass which will be attended by the Archbishop of Birmingham Vincent Nichols.
