A Kidderminster home furnishings store has closed its doors – one of a number to have shut in the Midlands after the company went into administration.
A Kidderminster home furnishings store has closed its doors – one of a number to have shut in the Midlands after the company went into administration.
KPMG LLP Restructuring were appointed as administrators for Rosebys last month said the Kidderminster store which closed yesterday.
Closing down sales started around a month ago in all stores. The store in Market Street employed six staff who are believed to have been given just a few hours notice before it closed.
Other outlets have been sold on to Edinburgh Woollen Mill.
A spokeswoman from KPMG Alison Anderson said: "The Joint Administrators of the Rosebys group of companies have sold 77 of the textile retailer's outlets and all of its stock to Duvetco Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edinburgh Woollen Mill."
