Lights cause long queues

Queues several miles long built up on a major commuter route into Kidderminster today as temporary traffic lights were set up.

Resurfacing is to be carried out near Black Bridge, Torton, from November 3 and motorists travelling from Ombersley and Hartlebury to Kidderminster and towards Hagley and Birmingham faced half-hour delays.

The temporary lights are the latest hold-ups on the road where pipe-laying has been carried out recently.
