Around 40 cars took part in a protest drive today to show the strength of support against plans to axe Kidderminster's driving test centre.
The cars, sporting flags on the aerials with the message "Save Kidderminster Test Centre", carried out their protest by driving from from Kidderminster to Dudley.
The protest was designed to show the distance people will have to go if the centre in Castle Road is closed next year.
The drivers, who beeped their horns en-route to gain support from other drivers, started out from Kidderminster's Rugby Club at 7.30am. They arrived at the test centre, in Lake Street in Gornal, at around 8.45am.
The drivers, all in a convoy, went along the A449 through Stourbridge.
Recently the Driving Standards Agency refused to re-think their decision to close the Castle Road centre and would not consider alternative sites in Kidderminster – which has been a blow to campaigners.
