Trinny and Susannah's latest series including a show featuring a Midland woman has been pulled from the schedules – but the promise of more TV exposure beckons.
ITV is rescheduling the series – which includes a show focusing on slimming club leader Gill 'Fletch' Fletcher – provisionally called Trinny and Susannah Meet Their Match.
It was originally due to be screened this month, but should get an airing next year. Viewing figures for Undress The Nation on ITV fell to just over two million, while their previous project What Not To Wear pulled in seven million viewers for the BBC.
The makeover presenters have filmed the show in which they help mature ladies who fall under the categories of Sexbombs, Dog Lovers and Pearls and Twinsets.
'Sexbomb' Fletch, had a combustible relationship with Trinny Woodall during its making. The presenter's first words to her were "You're my worst nightmare, mutton dressed as lamb."
The 46-year-old of Penkridge, who lost five stone and became a slimming consultant with classes in Stafford, says producers have considered editing an full episode with her rather than as one of 10 women.
She has also already filmed the follow-up programme to see if she had followed the advice she was given or slipped back into old habits.
Fletch said: "The executive producer told me they were thinking of having a show focusing on just me after watching the footage.
"I thought it was a wind up but she said she was serious. We'll have to see what happens. I've been told the show might be going out in February now."
