A new branch of credit store BrightHouse, opening in Kidderminster's Rowland Hill Shopping Centre on Saturday, will create six new jobs.
The shop is part of the national retail chain's expansion plans. It has come as boost to the town's trading centre which recently lost Motorworld.
The store will offer customers the chance to pay in instalments either weekly or monthly and Kidderminster is the latest branch to open. There are already BrightHouse branches in Dudley, Wolverhampton and West Bromwich.
The first store opened in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, in April 1994 and the company will have 178 branches with the opening of the Kidderminster shop.
Staff are planning a grand opening on Saturday to mark the occasion and are hosting a family fun day between 11am and 4pm to welcome the first customers.
Children will be able to have their faces painted and enjoy creations from balloon modellers.
