Families can enjoy a special open day for the last time this year at an historic house on the Bridgnorth to Kidderminster road.
Families can enjoy a special open day for the last time this year at an historic house on the Bridgnorth to Kidderminster road.
Visitors to the National Trust owned property, Dudmaston Hall, will have the opportunity to see the grounds on October 26.
Additionally, as part of The Big Draw 2008, visitors can take inspiration from modern art and capture the garden sculptures on paper in pencil, ink, or paint to create an autumnal picture to take home.
There will be creepy craft activities for younger visitors to enjoy for Halloween, as well as the opportunity to follow the garden trail to find ten terrifying creatures. Visitor will also be able to meet some real-life owls to get in the Halloween spirit.
The tea-room, which will be serving cakes and hot drinks as well as light lunches, including hot-baked potatoes and soup.
Nick Smith, visitor services manager says: "The garden is still looking splendid and the autumn leaves add some vibrant colour.
"We have a range of activities to suit all ages, so come along and enjoy the wonderful garden here at Dudmaston for the final time this year."
The garden, tea-room, and shop will be open from 12noon until 4pm.
Normal admission charges apply, and there will be a small additional charge for the crafts and trail.
