Ads to drive down crime

Huge billboard adverts are part of a new campaign to put the breaks on car crime which was launched in Kidderminster today.

One of the adverts highlighting the campaign, entitled Empty Your Car Before A Thief Does, went up over the weekend in Coventry Street, just off the ring road.

The campaign is being launched by Wyre Forest Community Safety Partnership (WFCSP).

Helen Dyke, chair of WFCSP, said: "What we are trying to do is raise people's awareness."
