A computer worker from Kidderminster could soon see his face plastered on billboards across the country after making it through to the finals of a national competition.
A computer worker from Kidderminster could soon see his face plastered on billboards across the country after making it through to the finals of a national competition.
Jake Egginton, aged 19, has won the Midlands heat of the Face of LG competition.
He will now be going up against nine other competitors to become the male face of the the mobile phone giant. Jake, an IT support worker who lives in Franche, has already had the chance to taste a slice of fame after his picture was blown up on the side of a van to promote the LG Secret phone.
"It was ace seeing myself up on the board. It would mean everything to win," he said.
Jake is a former pupil Haybridge School and then continued his education at Worcester college. His parents Ruth and Clive said they were "just as excited as he his".
As winner of the Midlands heat Jake, along with 10 other finalists from around the UK, was given £500 of clothing from Topshop or Topman and a new haircut created by a top stylist. The male winner will be appearing in GQ and Heat magazine.
