Thieves who broke into a Clent home to steal the keys to a £30,000 car yesterday may have struck at another property in the area on the same day.

Police are investigating a possible link between a burglary in Thicknall Lane, Clent, and a second burglary at a home in Bromsgrove Lane.

Offenders broke through a rear window of the property in Thicknall Lane to steal the keys to a black Audi A4 Sport convertible car, which they then took from the drive.

The theft is believed to have occurred at some point between between 1.40am and 6.30am yesterday.

The second burglary happened between 1.30am and 7am and police are investigating a possible link.

Nothing was stolen in the Bromsgrove Lane incident but police believe the offenders may have been disturbed.
