Man found dead on rail lines
A man was today found dead on a railway line close to Rowley Regis railway station.
A man was today found dead on a railway line close to Rowley Regis railway station.
Emergency services were called to the railway lines heading to Stourbridge shortly after 9.10am this morning.
A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, an incident support officer and the County Air Ambulance from Cosford all attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Crews were called to the railway line, approximately half a mile from Rowley Regis station, heading towards Stourbridge.
"It was there that the body of a man was found and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
London Midland and Chiltern Railway services were delayed as a result of the incident.
