Five people were injured in a four-car collision at the pay booths on the M6 Toll near Great Wyrley.

Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway at 4.15pm yesterday.

A man believed to be in his 20s and two women believed to be in their 40s and 60s, suffered neck pain and were taken to hospital.

A young girl and a man thought to be in his 60s suffered minor injuries in the crash but did not require hospital treatment.

A toll booth barrier was damaged in the incident which caused minor delays.
