Drugs with a street value of £800,000 were found when police swooped on a Wednesfield industrial estate.

The near-200kg stash of cannabis was discovered in boxes at a unit in Wednesfield.

Two men from Wolverhampton and one from Cannock were arrested and are on bail pending further inquiries following Tuesday's seizure by the West Midlands Serious and Organised Crime Unit.

Det Chief Insp Sue Holder, who led the team, said: "Despite being in existence for only a short amount of time, the unit has already been incredibly successful, and this seizure is another demonstration of our determination to stop criminals.

"We are committed to tackling drugs and by stopping these drugs reaching the streets of the West Midlands we make our communities safer."

The latest find follows discovery of a 3.5-ton drugs haul in Wolverhampton.
