Heatwave hits region

Summer sunshine will set temperatures soaring across the West Midlands this week - but the heatwave won't last long.

Umbrellas and anoraks could be ditched in favour of t-shirts and shorts over the next few days.

Temperatures are set to soar to almost 80F (27C) by Thursday, but will be replaced by thunder and cooler weather by Friday.
