Mystery as teen dies

A teenager found unconscious in the lake at Stourbridge's Mary Stevens Park has died after suffering injuries to his head and neck.

Beau Forrest, aged 18, of Hern Road, was found by friends at the park, in Norton, on June 18 and taken to hospital.

It emerged today the teen died on Saturday at a specialist hospital in Liverpool. He had regained consciousness following a nine-hour operation but later died of heart failure.

Mystery still surrounds how he came to be in the lake.
