Noel's double walks away with £30k
Fans of hit TV show Deal or No Deal saw double after Staffordshire's Graham Seeley took the Banker for £30,000.
Fans of hit TV show Deal or No Deal saw double after Staffordshire's Graham Seeley took the Banker for £30,000.
The 62-year-old from Great Wyrley caused a stir on the show after appearing as a doppleganger to presenter Noel Edmonds.
During his game, which was shown on Channel Four last night, Mr Seeley was taken backstage on the orders of the faceless Banker, and emerged looking like the gameshow host's long-lost twin.
In an hilarious TV moment the narrowboat painter even took over from Noel Edmonds doing a piece to the cameras.
During his two weeks on the show the Banker repeatedly teased him about his looks and even had him deliver the big question to another contestant during her show as Noel.
Despite the antics Mr Seeley, from Anson Road, kept his head and was able to walk away with a cheque for £30,030 after waiting for 21 shows to be selected to try his luck.
Although he could have had an offer of £40,000 Mr Seeley said he was delighted with the result as his own box had only £10,000 inside.
He told the Express & Star: "Actually Noel Edmonds looks a little bit like me as I'm the older of the two of us.
"I went out for the show as normal and then they took me backstage and they had a shirt just like Noel's and then they re-introduced me as Noel 2."
Since appearing on the show for the first time he has even be stopped in Cannock town centre by people who recognise him.
"I'm just waiting for someone who wants a Noel lookalike to do a TV show," he joked.
Mr Seeley added: "Deal or No Deal was a great experience and something I really enjoyed."
