Albion's players will send a personal "get well" message to injured team mate Filipe Teixeira tomorrow when they warm up in special tribute t-shirts at QPR.

The Baggies will warm up in t-shirts bearing the Portuguese midfielder's name and squad number, 20, before the final match of the season at Loftus Road.

The popular playmaker's season was ended prematurely when he suffered cruciate ligament damage in the 3-0 win over Plymouth in March and he is not expected back until around November. Now full-back Paul Robinson has come up with the t-shirt tribute to Teixeira, who is rehabilitating at home in Portugal.

"It was a massive blow," said Robinson. "At the time we didn't think it was that serious. We thought he'd twisted his knee but then we found out it was his cruciate.

"He was playing some of his best football for us and we had to try and deal with that.

"We've missed him a lot and hopefully we can lift the trophy for him on Sunday."
