Man killed in train tragedy

A man died after he was hit by a train in Cradley Heath today, sparking commuter chaos.

A number of services between Stourbridge junction and Birmingham Snow Hill were either cancelled or delayed for more than an hour following the emergency just before 7am.

The hold-ups placed further strain on the transport network as thousands returned back after the Easter break.
