The Rolling Stones stepped out into the spotlight to attend the star-studded UK premiere of their new movie Shine A Light.
Rock idols Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood tread the red carpet and greeted the thousands of fans, braving the drizzle, in Leicester Square last night.
The unique cinematic experience directed by Martin Scorsese charts the legendary band's 46-year history.
It includes rarely seen archive material and access-all-areas footage of two of their concerts at the Beacon Theatre in New York during the 2006 Bigger Bang tour – including guest performances from The White Stripes' Jack White, Christina Aguilera and Buddy Guy.
When asked how it felt to have a film chronicling the band's rise to fame, Wood replied: "It is only a little taster. It just scratches the surface."
And on dueting with Aguilera, Jagger said: "She is great, very professional, very sexy and a lovely singer."
Also at the showcase were Liam Gallagher with his wife Nicole, Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott, Chris Evans and TV presenters Alex Zane and Alexa Chung.
