Sixties stars set for festival
Famous names from the past will arrive in Burntwood to help top off this year's Wakes weekend with a special Sixties festival.

The line-up includes The Animals, The Searchers, Dave Berry and the Cruisers and The Fortunes.
They are among the big-name acts due to play at the Sunday night gig in August.
The opening night of the Wakes – which takes place in the grounds of Burntwood Rugby Club – is devoted to up-and-coming talent from the area. The festival has been extended to include an extra day, and on August 8 The Wakes Unsigned will give a selection of unsigned local bands the chance to get on stage.
Saturday's entertainment will include a family fun day with a circus, fairground rides and jazz bands, topped off with Proms in the Park from 7.30pm. The Sunday night Sixties Summer Festival will open at 2pm for crowds to take a trip back to the decade of flower power.
