Family tributes to tragic Lauren

The heartbroken family of Kingswinford woman who died after her sports car crashed into a tree have paid tribute to the "vivacious" girl who could "light up the room with her presence".

The tragedy happened as Lauren Ovenall, aged 22, was travelling home after a night out with friends in the early hours of Friday last week.

Miss Ovenall lost control of her car and hit a tree outside The Swan pub in Brettell Lane, Amblecote, Stourbridge.

She was revived by paramedics at the scene and rushed to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, but she died later from her injuries.

The former Kingswinford school pupil had been living in Nottingham and regularly travelled down to visit family and friends.

Her mother, Lorraine, described her as "the most beautiful girl anyone could wish for".

"She was vibrant, funny, vivacious and full of life. She could light up the room with her presence and I know she was loved by so many people and I was so proud she was my daughter. She came into the world perfect and left it the same way."

Her father, Barry, and step-mother, Gill, said she only every saw the best in everyone she met.

Lauren's brother Adam said not only was she a great sister, she was also a great friend, and like a second mum to him.
