Fans of X Factor runners-up Journey South and comedian Paddy McGuinness have been snapping up tickets to see them take to the stage in Cannock.
Tickets for both shows only went on sale last week but the box office at the Prince of Wales Centre has already sold more than half of the tickets for each. Theatre manager Richard Kay said: "We have not really advertised either show as tickets only went on sale last week but we've already sold two-thirds for Paddy McGuinness and over half for Journey South.
"They are both big names and could have played at bigger venues so we are delighted to be able to announce they've included Cannock in their tour dates. It's fantastic news."
Tickets have also gone on sale for this year's December pantomime: Aladdin, and are selling well.
Journey South, brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton, made a name for themselves when they appeared on talent contest X Factor and the Cannock show on July 4 is expected to sell out.
Paddy McGuinness will be there on September 7 from 8pm and tickets cost £17.50.
The comedian, one half of nightclub duo Max and Paddy from television comedy Phoenix Nights, will perform his new touring show Plus You! Live.
The Bolton-born star's career started in 1999 but it wasn't until Phoenix Nights that he and fellow Bolton lad Peter Kay achieved true cult star status.
The Searchers, one of the biggest bands of the 1960s will also return on September 28 after performing in the town last year.
Other performers added to the theatre's programme include The Drifters on October 22 and Forever In Blue Jeans on November 8.
