The new-look salon in Brereton, opposite the Cedar Tree hotel, officially threw open its doors with an open day on Saturday with pink bubbly and canapes for people going along to take a look.
Goody bags were also given out and a 10 per cent discount was offered to customers on the day.
It was formally Jilly's hair salon but the owner retired and it has now been completely refurbished.
A modern look was picked for its interior with touches of pink featuring in the design and glass blocks separating the reception and salon.
Hair Avantgarde, which has been in Cheslyn Hay for five years, uses the latest techniques and advice on various styles.
Technical colour specialists are on hand to offer a range of colour procedures including foils, frosting, tipping, spatula and colour correction.
A separate room is also provided where colours are applied and a sofa is available for customers to relax on, watching a DVD, while waiting.
