Residents claim they had their Christmas holidays spoiled after the group set up their caravans just yards from their homes.
They claim they dug makeshift lavatories near their garden fences.
The travellers arrived on the site on the Saltbrook Trading Estate, in Saltbrook Road, Lye, just before Christmas and finally left yesterday morning leaving behind bags of rubbish, empty gas canisters and piles of excrement.
They have now moved on and set up camp on the car park of the former Kwik Save store in Peartree Lane, Netherton.
One resident, who lives in Mogul Lane near the Saltbrook Trading Estate, said the travellers had made her Christmas a "living nightmare".
