Holly the donkey is only a few days old but she is already taking a starring role in a charming nativity scene.
The little donkey was born on December 7 and visitors can get a glimpse of both Holly and her mother Lily as they go on a walk along the Nativity Trail at Bodenham Arboretum at Wolverley, near Kidderminster.
Owner and manager James Binnian said: "We are really delighted by the birth of Holly and both mum and foal are doing well.
"They can be seen by visitors taking part in the nativity trail."
As part of the trail visitors are asked to follow 25 stars on a short walk around the arboretum and on their journey they are invited to take part in a family quiz.
The trail takes them to a census office, the Arbour Inn and to a stable scene featuring Mary and Joseph with Holly and her mother.
There are also cattle, sheep and shepherds to be seen as well.
Mr Binnian said: "Holly has added that vital "aaahh" factor to the nativity scene and is proving a major draw for visitors.
"So far she has not disgraced herself and seems to really enjoy the limelight.
"Proud mum Lily and father Romeo are also basking in the spotlight and enjoying all the attention from visitors.
"It really does bring a realistic touch to the nativity scene."
Visitors can take part in the trail from Wednesdays to Sundays between 11am and 5pm and youngsters can also pay a visit to Mother Christmas in a themed grotto at weekends.
Admission prices are £3.50 for adults and £1.50 for children.
