Matthew Wood, general manager at Motorhouse 2000, said staff were coming to the end of their tether.
He said: "Over the last three weeks 53 cars have been vandalised. It is just mindless vandalism where these people are using keys to scratch the paintwork.
"I have been with the company 10 years and I have never known this before. We have security guards on site but the forecourt is very big."
Inspector Matt Derrick said: "We have visited the company and we have offered staff security advice.
"We are also stepping up patrols in the area to try and catch the people."
