Prosecutor David Jones said that in July a 14-year-old boy and a friend went fishing in St Nicholas Park in Warwick. He was sleeping when Turner touched him.
Turner served seven years and four months before he was released on licence, but has now been recalled to prison to finish the sentence.
Judge James Pyke ordered Turner to register as a sex offender for 10 years after he comes out of prison.
