The men were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday by police officers investigating the death of a man found at an address in Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, on Monday afternoon.
A murder inquiry was launched as a result of findings of a post mortem carried out yesterday.
But police have still not revealed the man's identity or confirmed how he died.
Scene of crime officers sealed off the house while forensics teams scoured the property for clues.
Neighbours looked on stunned as a police guard was set up at the driveway to the house not long after officers first arrived at the scene.
A forensics tent has also been set up near a gully leading to the rear of the property.
Neighbours were yesterday unable to name the dead man but they believed he was one of six other men to live at the house.
People living in the street said CID officers had also knocked on their doors asking them for any information on the property or its owners.
They also said a van had also been removed from the address following the launch of the investigation.
A police spokeswoman said on Tuesday afternoon that Halesowen magistrates had granted police a further 24 hours to question the men, who are all from Stourbridge.
Anyone with information should call police at Halesowen police station on 0845 1135000.
