Blues striker's loan extended

QPR have extended Birmingham City striker Rowan Vine's loan spell at Loftus Road until the new year.

The 25-year-old joined the London club last month and has been involved in Rangers' five-match unbeaten run.

The two-month extension will see Vine stay at Rangers into 2008, although Blues can recall him after December 1.
