Daniel Tuck, aged 26, was found hanged at the family home in Junction Street South, Langley, on Friday.

The salesman resorted to trying to sell the organ to tackle a mountain of gambling debts.

He was living with a suspended sentence after appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to the supply of 'human material for transplant'.

Tuck admitted posting an advert on a website for dialysis patients, offering one of his kidneys for transplant in an illegal deal to clear debts of £25,000. Daniel was given a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.

He was also made the subject of a two-year supervision order and ordered to carry out 120 hours community punishment.

A post mortem examination was due to be carried out today, with an inquest set to be opened tomorrow.

Tuck was one of two young men who were found hung within minutes of each other at two addresses in Sandwell last week.

The second man, who was Asian and also believed to be in his 20s, was discovered dead in Haden Road, Cradley Heath. Police say they are not currently connecting the two.
