Jamelia in boyfriend hopes

Supermodel Erin O'Connor and singing sensation Jamelia returned to their roots to launch their new hair care range in the West Midlands - and the girls were in a fit of giggles as they posed for photos.

But Jamelia had more to smile about than just her new beauty venture, as she revealed a reconciliation was on the cards with ex-boyfriend Darren Byfield.

Jamelia and former Walsall footballer Byfield, who have a daughter Tiani, broke up last month after three years together.

But the singer, who has recently moved back home to Birmingham, told the Express & Star the couple were hopeful of getting back together.

"We miss each other very much and are trying to work things out," the 26-year-old pop star said.

"We are working towards a reconciliation," she said.

Jamelia, of Edgbaston, and Erin, from Brownhills, teamed up with supermodel Helena Christensen and hairdressers Toni & Guy to create the new designer collection, called Model.Me.
