Car boot sales get all clear
Sunday shopping has been given a vital boost after plans for traditional car boot sales in a Kidderminster car park were given the green light.

It is hoped the move by the Swan Centre will help to lure more people into the town on the quietest trading day of the week.
Wyre Forest District Council gave the go-head for sales to take place on 51 Sundays a year, with the exception of Easter Sunday.
The car boot will cover three floors of the car park and there will be room for 62 pitches for cars and small vans, with space available just for tables for people without cars who would like to sell items.
Centre manager Ros Darby said: "It is going to be back to basics car boot sales for the public.
"I hope its going to be very popular."
The first two car boot sales will take place on November 4 and November 18 and there will be a break before they start again in January.
The sale will be open from 8.30am until 1pm and commercial goods, tobacco-related products, alcohol and pharmaceuticals are all banned. Sellers are being encouraged to pre-book a pitch in time for the first sale and anyone wanting to reserve their spot can contact 01562 753210.
