The driver of the car, Eileen Baker, of Danby Drive, Cannock, is charged with causing his death. A 75-year-old Cannock woman appeared before Stafford Crown Court today accused of causing the death of a motorcyclist by dangerous driving.

Paul MacKintosh died after his 600cc white Honda motorbike collided with a blue Ford Fusion in Cannock Wood Street, Hazel Slade, on February 11.

The driver of the car, Eileen Baker, of Danby Drive, Cannock, is charged with causing his death.

Her case was adjourned for a plea and case management hearing to be held at the same court on November 7 and she was allowed unconditional bail.Mr Anthony Potter, defending, said he was unable at this stage to give an indication as to what the plea might be.

Mr MacKintosh, aged 22, of New Road, Armitage, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, near to the junction with Valley Road.
